About Kristine

Tori Nelson, RDN, LDN
Kristine Taylor, MS, RDN, LDN, IFNCP specializing in gut and digestive health for Health Takes Guts®.

Kristine’s training and professional work experience started 15 years ago in Boston hospitals. Extensive experience in the clinical setting expanded her knowledge of human health and highlighted the importance of food as medicine. She shifted into corporate wellness as a nutrition therapist and began her pursuit of integrative and functional nutrition training. She is fascinated with the physiology, biochemistry and anatomy of the human body and enjoys translating the science into practical, relatable and actionable information for her clients.

Her focus is in digestive and metabolic health and loves collaborating with her clients to find the root cause of their health issues. Her holistic and collaborative approach involves looking at the whole person by incorporating nourishing foods, enjoyable movement, techniques to calm the nervous system and having real conversations. Kristine’s style is non-judgmental, light-hearted and always with empathy to help her clients find healing, health and wellbeing.

Kristine holds a Master’s degree in Applied Nutrition from Northeastern University, completed her Dietetic Internship at Simmons University and is a Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner.

When she’s not working, Kristine enjoys getting outdoors, taking big and small adventures with her husband, playing guitar and piano and figuring out how to garden.
